We are currently seeking a Production Coordinator. This position resides at the Cottage Grove, OR shop and works under the direction of the Wright Machine Supervisor.
Job Summary:
The production coordinator coordinates flow of work within or between departments of the manufacturing plant and monitors/ maintains work order and cost accounting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Releases print, assembly and machine work orders to the shop (travelers and pick sheets as required).
Processes work orders for completed projects into SAGE.
Updates old templates (picking sheets) and creates new templates as required for assemblies and machines.
Compares work order costs to standard prices and updates prices.
Enters new item numbers into SAGE along with standard prices.
Revises item price spreadsheets and sends updates to distributors.
Partitions machine templates into sub-assemblies.
Monitors inventory levels and corrects anomalies as they are discovered.
Helps determine work in progress (WIP) costs and raw material costs at year-end inventory.
Tracks machine builds per month (quantity and type)
Qualifications, Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent and one year factory related experience in work order processing.
Ability to read and write English, follow verbal instructions and use simple math.
High Sense of Urgency
Requirements:
Possess good organizational skills.
Have respectable computer skills and experience with Microsoft office.
The ability to read CAD drawings.
