Wright Machine Tool Announces Cost-Saving New Product
Cottage Grove, OR
September 22, 2010
Wright Machine Tool’s new Wright WH-01 Honer generated significant interest when introduced this month at the Western Saw Filers Conference in Portland, Oregon. Designed to hone the tops and faces of band saw teeth to produce a polished, sharper tooth, the Honer puts out saws that cut faster, straighter and produce better quality lumber while reducing stress on the saw body.
The benefits of a sharper saw in the cut are many but an unexpected advantage is the reduction in labor for saw filers. The new Honer gets a razor sharp saw in just two passes so filers spend less time tending conventional grinders. In addition, with less material removal, filers can generate many more sharpenings before retipping. This not only takes labor out of the retipping process, it also significantly reduces Stellite costs.
For more information about how the Honer can revolutionize your saw sharpening practices and allow your mill to gain a greater competitive advantage, please call the Wright Factory or your Burton Saw Representative and take a closer look at the WH-01 on it's product page.
