The Wright Machine Tool "WH-01"accurately hones large band saws to a fine finish. Deep grinding grooves are removed resulting in a shaper saw with a much longer operational life between sharpening cycles. Heavy-duty construction increases accuracy, productivity, and machine life.
Machine control is achieved by the use of an advanced computer control system with intergrated stepper control.
Honing accuracy is accomplished through the use of a precision stepper moter as well.
The WH-01 can inerface with most band saw grinders on the market. It can be run as a stand alone version or in place of an air backfeed stand.

Adjusting the honing pads to the saw top and face angles are accomplished by simple quick manual adjustments.
Table movements for honing are accomplished with a heavy duty stepper motor.
Honing head movements and actual honing are also accomplished with the use of a stepper motor's fine control.
Each head has replaceable pads to insure continued saw optimization.
Separate honing heads are used for topping and facing.
Operator interface is a color touch screen for ease of operation and maintenance.
