Early Construction Photos

Jim Wright and Steve Wolf shown test fitting of the wing to the firewall. This picture taken prior to wing being completed. Steve and Liz Wolf were subcontracted to build the wooden portion of the wing.

Kent White shown holding one of the flaps. Ron Englund shown on right. Kent was subcontracted to fabricate the wing and empanage fairings. Wing structure is now complete, painted, and installed onto the fuselage. The aircraft is very near first flight.
Cowling builder Jim Younkin (left) shown with wing builder Steve Wolf (right). Steve and Liz Wolf built the entire wooden wing structure. Jim Younkin fabricated the engine cowling.

Here is the wing flap assembly shown in the down position. This photo taken after aft part of fuselage was removed. Fuselage was mated to wing for proper fit. Final assembly of forward part of fuselage and firewall was done with the rear part of the fuselage removed.
