Authors notes: Dennis Parker is part of the design and research team for the Howard Hughes H-1 Racer Replica. His role in the project included design aspects as well as extensive historical research regarding the original H-1. He has been with the project since before the beginning.
He is a commercially rated instrument pilot, and holds certificates for single engine aircraft and gliders. He is a qualified in aerobatics and has worked as a flight instructor and banner tow pilot. His writings have been published in a variety of newspaper, periodical, and electronic formats.
