H-1 Racer meets Big Brother Spruce Goose
On September 28th and 29th, 2002, the H-1 flew to McMinville Oregon to visit its big brother, the H-4 flying boat (Spruce Goose).This is thought to be the first time that these two authentic Hughes designs shared the same airport.
